Dr. Liying Cheng is Professor and Director of Assessment and Evaluation Group (AEG), at the Faculty of Education, Queen’s University. Her seminal research on washback focuses on the global impact of large-scale testing. She devotes her research, education, and mentoring to employing assessment to support teaching and learning for linguistically and culturally diverse people around the world.
